- Do you accept insurance payments?
Other than Cigna and Aetna, I do not accept insurance. NYS no fault is also an exception, as I have worked with insurance companies of clients involved in motor vehicle accidents without any difficulty.
In general, insurance companies demand too much information regarding you, it takes a lot of time to do their paper work, they are slow to pay and they restrict your access to the amount of service you want or need. For more information regarding HMOs Click Here
I do accept cash, checks, Visa, MasterCard, Discover Card, American Express, Care Credit Master Card and Flexible Spending Account (FSA)/Health Spending Account (HSA) cards. Not only that, I work with you and for you. You become my “employer” and we not bound by insurance company limitations.
If you have an FSA or HSA you may need an invoice or statement known as a super bill from me to get reimbursed. I will happily supply you with one if you need one.
My services are also a viable medical tax deduction as is mileage to and from my office.
Some health insurance policies offer out-of-network coverage (OON). I you have OON coverage on you health insurance, I will be happy to supply you with a super bill that you can submit to your insurance company for reimbursement.
I also provide Employee Assistance Program (EAP) services for many EAP providers. These services are free to you and vary in the number of sessions authorized as well a how much time you have to use the sessions once they are authorized.
- How much are sessions?
Please visit the Services and Fees Page for the current fee schedule
- How long will this take?
That’s a question that is difficult to answer and varies from individual to individual. It is dependent on a number of factors: 1) How quickly we are able to identify the issue(s), (2) How many issues are involved, 3) How complicate are the issue(s) and 4) how quickly you respond to the treatment. Some people respond quickly and others don’t. That’s just the way it is. What I can tell you is that using Energy Psychology techniques will create change quicker, easier and more permanently than traditional methods. Some issues resolve quickly, and others take more time.
- How often should we meet?
That depends on you, your budget, and how quickly you want to resolve your issues. I recommend meeting every other week at a minimum. Going beyond that causes a loss of continuity and momentum.
- Do you use Hypnosis and is EFT similar to Hypnosis?
No, I don’t use Hypnosis, and EFT is not like Hypnosis.
- Will I learn how to use EFT?
I teach EFT to all of my clients.
- How often should I use EFT?
One should create an EFT habit, just like brushing your teeth, using it everyday whenever especially when you are experiencing stress/distress.
- Do you offer phone sessions and can EFT be done over the phone or internet video sessions?
I offer internet video sessions using Doxy.me, a free, HIPPIA compliant Telehealth Platform. I do not offer phone sessions. I find video sessions more effective as I can see what is happening with you. Your body often tells me things that you may not be aware of.
